To be on or close to something. When something or someone is persistent. To be inseparable.
 何かにくっついている、もしくは接近している。何か、誰かがとてもしつこい。引き離すことができない。
1. He’s on that sandwich like white on rice.
彼はあのサンドイッチに食いついて離れない。 

2.The husband and wife are always together. They are like white on rice.

あの夫と妻はいつも一緒にいる。べたべたしている。
